Corn Pro builds perhaps the best steel livestock trailer on the market. We've looked at the competition, and have noticed several key feature differences, not to mention craftsmanship differences. Some of the differences we have noticed include:

1 - Dexter torsion axles (many use spring)

2 - 3x5 angle frame (many use 2x3 angle)

3 - 2 5/16" cast coupler (some use 2")

4 - Bulldog jacks (some use Ram imports)

5 - 1x3" tube wall posts (some use 1x2" tube, others angle iron)

6 - Vents are standard (most aren't offered)

7 - Full front roof radius (some do a tapered nose)

8 - HD Equipment fenders with stoneguard (many use a lighter gauge smooth fender with "stonebrite" - a thin stoneguard look-alike).

9 - Running boards (some don't do this, others only behind the fender)

10 - Rear door has rollers standard (many don't use a roller = metal on metal)

11 - HD rear door hinges have grease zirts (most side doors/rear doors don't have zirts)

12 - 14 ga sides (many use 16 ga)

13 - 54" standard sidewall = 2 openings (many use 48" = 3 openings)

14 - Quality kiln dried lumber, laid in place AFTER trailer is painted (most lumber isn't kiln dried, some placed prior to painting)

15 - Quality Goodyear radial tires (most use a no-name tire)

16 - HD rear door latches w/ slam latch (many only do a slam latch on the center door, not the rear door, lighter duty latches)

17 - 16 ga roof (many use 18 ga)

18 - 4" channel tongue (many use 3" channel)
